Bay Area workaholic guitar-virtuoso Ty Segall is releasing his new solo album "Sleeper" August 20th at Drag City but have became it available for full streming at NPR, confirming that it’ll be the only solo album this year following-up last year’s three albums "Hair" w/ White Fence, "Twins" and Ty Segall Band’s "Slaughterhouse".
"Sleeper" shows a folk approach, probably influenced by early T-Rex, and turns out to be the most personal work of the garage rocker to date, talking about the death of his father, a falling out with his mother and a recente re-location to Los Angeles.
