On May 14, Polyvinyl will be releasing Wampire’s debut full-length, Curiosity, produced by Unknown Mortal Orchestra bassist Jacob Portrait. We’ve already heard “The Hearse” and “Spirit Forest” ; now listen to album cut “Trains” below, and download it here. From what we have heard so far, this album is shaping up to be something special.

Denver-based avant-pop duo Gauntlet Hair have announced the follow-up to their excellent 2011 self-titled debut full length. Stills was recorded in Portland, OR at Jacob Portrait’s (of Unknown Mortal Orchestra) The Cave recording studio, and will be.officially out on July 16 via Dead Oceans. “Human Nature” is the first single from the album, and you can hear it below.

Portland’s Blouse, who shares bassist Jacob Portrait with UMO, have unveiled the video for their track “Time Travel,” off their 2012 self-titled debut album, out now on Captured Tracks. Directed by Lana Kim. Watch it below.
